Darren Browne
Executive Chairman, Pertemps Professional Staffing Network Limited

Darren joined Pertemps Professional Staffing Network at the beginning of 2009 to support the company in its next stage of growth. A leading strategist, Darren brings to the Group 25 years recruitment experience. During his career he has served as Managing Director of Hays Information Technology (10 years) and CEO of Servoca Plc, formally Dream Group (9 years).

Pioneering in his commercial outlook, Darren has launched many successful online ventures including e-retailers www.thedoghouse.co.uk & www.boysstuff.co.uk, for Dream Internet. It is this vision and practical experience that he brings to the recruitment market, utilising his knowledge to develop highly effective web strategies for sector leading organisations such as the Pertemps Professional Satffing Network.

Born in The Cotswold’s, Darren now lives near Henley-On-Thames, where he enjoys a quiet life with his wife & 4 children. He is currently studying for his Chartered Directorship & holds Directorships in a wide range of private companies.


Fred Knipe
Financial Director, Pertemps Professional Staffing Network

Fred is a Chartered Accountant, with over 10 years experience in recruitment. He joined Xchangeteam (a Pertemps subsidary) as Finance Director in 2002 and at the beginning of 2012 became Finance Director of Pertemps Professional Staffing Network and Ashton Consulting (a Pertemps subsidary) as well.

Prior to this Fred worked in corporate finance for eight years, advising on a number of unquoted transactions involving disposals and acquisitions. Fred has significant experience in assisting businesses grow both organically and through acquisitions, as well as putting in place the infrastructure to manage the increase in volume.

Rachel Green
Group Operations Director, Pertemps Professional Staffing Network

All organisations need good operations and client relationship management and in Rachel, Pertemps Professional Satffing Network have the right balance of knowledge, dedication and professionalism.  Joining the Group in 2007, Rachel has over 18 years dedicated experience in handling large portfolios, which brings with it a confidence for our clients that their accounts are in safe hands.

She is also responsible for the end-to-end tender process for Pertemps Professional Satffing Network, including preparation and presentation of proposals. She has previous experience of working both on and off client site providing contract, permanent and outsourced on-site projects as well as managing large transition programmes.  

Away from the office, Rachel enjoys relaxing at home with her close friends and family and frequenting her local where she is on first name terms with the landlord! 


Terry Payne
Managing Director, Treadstone ERP Consulting

Terry has been working within the Recruitment industry for the last 18 years, during this time he has established himself as a key performer within any business that he has worked. 

During the past 6 years Terry has been focused purely within the SAP Market and has worked at a senior level within some of the largest ERP specific recruitment companies within the UK and Europe where he has be responsible for managing both contract and permanent teams. 

Terry has developed some significant relationships within the ERP space that have allowed him to establish himself as a recruiter of choice.
